At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Cardamom for delivery in September month plunged by Rs 32.30, or 3.99 per cent to Rs 776.50 per kg in business turnover of 331 lots.
In a similar fashion, the spice for delivery in October contracts fell by Rs 33.10, or 3.98 per cent to Rs 799.50 per kg in 351 lots.
However, spice for delivery in August contract traded higher by Rs 8.20, or 0.96 per cent to Rs 860 per kg in 33 lots.
Soybean futures rose on Tuesday after the U.S. government reduced its Soybean output estimate at a time when the market was expecting an upward revision.
Domestic soybean futures also attracted buying support on fears that heavy rains in some pockets could damage the main summer oilseed crop.
The key October soybean contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange was up 1.6 percent at 3,044 rupees ($49.78) per 100 kg.The key September soyoil contract rose 1.0 percent to 661 rupees per 10 kg, while the rapeseed contract for September was up 1.1 percent to 3,316 rupees per 100 kg.
