CARDAMOM
Cardamom prices were up 0.47 per cent to Rs 901 per kg in futures market today on rising demand in the spot market.
 
Restricted supplies in the physical market from producing regions also supported the uptrend.
 
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in August rose Rs 4.20, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 901 per kg in a business turnover of 3 lots.
 
Similarly, the spice for delivery in July gained Rs 2.40, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 919.20 per kg in 153 lots.

MENTHA OIL
Mentha oil prices gained 0.30 per cent to Rs 807.50 per kg in futures trade today amid pick-up in demand from consuming industries in the spot market.
 
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Mentha oil for delivery in June rose Rs 2.40, or 0.30 per cent, to Rs 807.50 per kg in a business turnover of 99 lots.
 
Similarly, the oil for delivery in July traded higher by Rs 2.20, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 819.50 per kg in 58 lots.
