NCDEX TIPS FOR THE WEEK AS ON 17 NOVEMBER 2014

CARDAMOM
Cardamom prices fell by 1.57 per cent on Friday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to the adequate stocks availability in the physical market on account of higher supply from the producing belts of Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh. At MCX, Cardamom futures for November 2014 contract were trading at Rs. 863.10 per kg, down by 1.57 per cent, after opening at Rs. 877 against the previous closing price of Rs. 876.90. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 863 till the trading. (At 10.40 AM today). Sentiment weakened further as the traders booked profits at the prevailing levels in the midst of a subdued demand for the commodity.

MENTHA OIL
Mentha oil prices fell by 0.19 per cent on Friday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as a result of the increased arrivals of the commodity in the physical market from the major producing belts in Uttar Pradesh. At MCX, Mentha oil futures for November 2014 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs. 689.60 per kg, down by 0.19 per cent after opening at Rs. 690.90 against the previous closing price of Rs. 690.90. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 686.40 till the trading. (At 2.37 PM today).
