NCDEX TIPS FOR THE WEEK AS ON 15 DECEMBER 2014

CARDAMOM
Continued its losing streak for the fourth straight day, cardamom prices fell by another 0.50 per cent to Rs 881.30 per kg in futures trading today as speculators trimmed positions, tracking a weak trend at spot market on easing demand.
 

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in far-month February moved down by Rs 4.30, or 0.50 per cent to Rs 881.30 per kg in business turnover of 8 lots.
 

In a similar fashion, the spice for delivery in January contract weakened by Rs 2.50, or 0.29 per cent to Rs 864.50 per kg in 240 lots.

MENTHA OIL
Mentha oil prices were down by 0.22 per cent to Rs 715 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at existing higher levels amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
 

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in December month fell Rs 1.60, or 0.22 per cent to Rs 715 per kg in business turnover of 93 lots.
 

Similarly, the oil for delivery in January next year traded lower by 50 paise, or 0.07 per cent to Rs 726.90 per kg in 31 lots.
