CASTORSEED
Castor seed prices fell by 0.4 per cent on Thursday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of fresh supply of the commodity in the major mandies as well as strong production estimates. At the NCDEX, castor seed futures for January 2015 contract was trading at Rs. 4,752 per quintal tones, down by 0.4 per cent, after opening at Rs. 4,779 against the previous closing price of Rs. 4,771. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 4,735 till the trading. (At 12.15 PM).

Coriander prices fell by 1.32 per cent on Thursday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the adequate stocks availability in the physical market put pressure on coriander prices. At the NCDEX, coriander futures for January 2015 contract were trading at Rs. 10,960 per quintal, down by 1.32 per cent, after opening at Rs. 10,700 against the previous closing price of Rs. 11,107. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 10,700 till the trading. (At 11.19 AM).
