Agri tips : Cardamom rose by 0.51% Barley went down 1.79%

Agri tips for today : Prices of Cardamom rose by 0.51 per-cent on Tuesday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on account of good buying support from both exporters and upcountry buyers and also on hopes of improved export demand. At MCX, November 2015 contract for Cardamom futures were trading at Rs 753.70 per kg, up by 0.51 per-cent, after opening at Rs. 750.20 in comparison to the previous closing price of Rs. 749.90. It reached the intra-day high of Rs. 753.90 till the trading. Morning at 10.40 AM today.

Sentiment improved further as a result of firm requirement in the market against prohibited arrivals from producing belts of Chandausi in UP(Uttar Pradesh).

On the other hand, Barley prices went down by 1.79 per-cent on yesterday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the investors booked profits at the higher on account of the weak physical markets and also due to the fall in the requirement from beer and cattle-feed makers. At the NCDEX, barley futures for November 2015 contract closed at Rs. 1,452 per quintal, went down by 1.79 per-cent, after opening at Rs. 1,487 against the previous closing price of Rs. 1,478.5. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 1,447.
