Share tips - The BSE equity benchmark indices climbed over 1 per-cent in today's early trade amid positive cues from world markets.
Gains on the Sensex were led by private lenders such as ICICI BankBSE 2.70 %, Axis BankBSE 4.34 % and HDFC Bank, IT major Infosys and oil refiner Reliance Industries.
The market breadth remained positive, with 8 of every 10 BSR stocks trading in the black lines.
