Due to high supplies: Jeera ends lower on 22 Feb, 2016

Last week, prices of Jeera prices ends low by 2.43 per-cent at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited on account of a outpouring supply from the producing areas in the midst of a decline in the export requirement.


NCDEX : Jeera futures for March 2016 contract ended at Rs. 14,265 per quintal, down 2.43 per-cent, after unlocking at Rs. 14,625 against its preceding closing price of 14,620.Then, it reached the intra-day low of Rs. 14,165.


World wide outcome of Jeera is near 2.2 lakh MT per year, of which India produces about 1.5 lakh MT per year. India exports Jeera mainly to the US, UK, UAE, Japan, Brazil,Singapore, Bangladesh and many other countries. Besides this, other Major exporters are Syria & Turkey.

Today's Natural gas tanking at 2 per-cent 16 feb, 2016


Today, Natural Gas futures extended a retreat, tanking 2 per-cent in the native market on Monday as investors and speculators quit their positions in the energy commodity as forecasts for warmer weather in the US(United States) in the up-coming days threatened to curb the requirement for the heating fuel in the world’s largest gas consuming nation.

Latest weather forecasting models called for warmer than normal temperatures over the next two weeks in parts of the US, curbing requirement for gas-fired heating at offices and homes.

Nearly 49 per-cent of US(United States) households use natural gas for heating purposes. From Nov to March month is the peak US gas heating season.

MCX : Natural Gas futures for Feb 2016 contract closed at Rs 131.2 per mmBtu, down by 2 per cent, after unlocking at Rs 133, as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 133.9. It reached an intra-day low of 131.

Today Cardamom slumps 16 Feb, 2016

Prices of Cardamom fell down by 0.39 per-cent today at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to the inadequate stocks availability in the physical market on account of higher supply from the producing belts of Chandausi in UP(Uttar Pradesh). Click for Commodity tips

MCX : Cardamom futures for Feb 2016 contract were trading at Rs 713.50 per kg, down by 0.39 per cent, after unlocking at Rs. 716.90 against the preceding closing price of Rs. 716.30. It reached the intra-day low of Rs. 711 till the trading time in morning. Sentiment weakened further as the traders booked profits at the prevailing levels in the midst of a subdued requirement for the commodity.

Ncdex Jeera closes high as traders increased holdings

Today, Jeera prices ended high by 2 per-cent at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the investors increased their holdings in the commodity in the midst limited arrivals from growing areas.

NCDEX
: Jeera futures for March 2016 contract closed at Rs. 14,260 per quintal, up by 2 per cent, after opening at Rs. 14,005 as compared to the previous ending price of 13,980. It attained the intra-day high of Rs. 14,330. Sentiment improved further as a result of decreased local supplies in the physical markets & some export enquiries.

Today Crude oil consolidates recovery 5 Feb, 2016


Mcx Crude oil futures advanced in the local market on yesterday as investors and traders booked fresh positions in the energy commodity amidst ongoing speculation of a near-term meeting between OPEC and non-OPEC producers to discuss a potential outcome cut in a bid to help combat ballooning supplies and quell market volatility.

Media reports emerged that Venezuela and 6-other oil producing countries are planning to hold an emergency meet of OPEC and non-OPEC members. Moreover, that list did not include Saudi Arabia, OPEC’s most significant & influential member, and whose participation in any such planned meeting is critical to the prospects of production cuts.

Traders shrugged off tepid US economic data which indicated uncertainty over the demand outlook for the fuel in the world’s largest gas consuming nation. The number of Americans who filed applications & seeking for unemployment benefits rose by 8,000 to 285,000 last week while factory orders fell the most in a year, plunging by 2.9 per-cent in Dec month.

MCX, February 2016 contract for Crude oil futures, closed at Rs 2,181 per barrel, up by 0.51 per cent, after unlocking at 2,187, against the previous close price of Rs 2,170. It attained an intraday high of Rs 2,278.

Natural Gas sinks over 6 % 3 Feb, 2016

Yesterday, Natural Gas futures slided by more than 6 per-cent in the local market as investors and traders quit their positions in the energy commodity as forecasts for warmer than average weather in parts of the US through the middle of Feb dampened the demand prospects for the heating fuel in the world’s biggest gas consumer.

Updated weather forecasting models called for warmer-than-normal temperatures in the US over the next two weeks, reducing the need for gas-fired heating at offices and homes.

Nearly 49 per-cent of US households use natural gas for heating purposes. Nov to March is the peak US gas heating season.

MCX : Natural Gas
futures for February 2016 contract ended at Rs 136.6 per mmBtu, down by 6.37 per cent, after unlocking at Rs 145.4, as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 145.9. It attained an intra-day low of 135.2.

SBI Life eyes 30-35% growth over up coming 3 years


SBI : SBI Life Insurance Company keeping eye at an overall growth of 30-35 per-cent for the up coming two-three years on the back of growing agency and bancassurance distribution segments.Click for Stock option tips The company is also estimating 40 per-cent rise in new business premium this financial year, SBI Life Managing Director and CEO Arijit Basu.

Company is looking at 30-35 percent growth for the next 2-3 years. This will be mainly by maintaining 15 percent growth in the agency distribution model and high growth estimated in the bancassurance model.

"We want to maintain growth of 20-25 per-cent in our agency model and over 50 per-cent in our bancassurance model," he also contributed. Mr. Basu told the organization has not fully tapped the bancassurance model, which has immense potential.

Oppo going to start manufacturing unit in india & invest Rs 100 crs

Oppo Global VP : Chinese mobile handset company Oppo told that, it will invest Rs 100 crore to start its own manufacturing unit in India by August this year. "We have long term plan for India. We will invest Rs 100 cr to start our mobile manufacturing unit by Aug 2016 year," Oppo Global VP and President of Oppo India, Sky Li told at the launch of selfie phone F1 and F1 Plus here today. He told that Oppo has already started its production for mobile handset in India at electronic manufacturing services firm Foxconn's plant.

"We expect to grow our business volume significantly. We have sold 40 million handsets in China so far and hopes business of india to grow similarly. Oppo is going to produce 10 million handset units per year in India at our own plant. We will continue our relationship with Foxconn as well," Li told.

Due to increase in demand Ncdex Jeera ended high

 
Prices of Jeera ended higher by 0.11 per-cent on Friday last week at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the investors raised their holdings in the commodity in the midst limited arrivals from growing areas.

NCDEX
: Jeera futures for March 2016 contract ended at Rs. 13,600 per quintal, up by 0.11 per cent, after opening at Rs. 13,605 as compared to previous ending price of Rs. 13,585. It reached the intra-day high of Rs. 13,675.

Sentiment improved further as a result of reduced local supplies in the physical markets & some export enquiries. World wide output of Jeera is nearly 2.2 lakh MT per year, of which India produces about 1.5 lakh MT each year.

Prices of Jeera closed low by 1.07%, Agri Tips for 20 Jan 2016

Agri Tips for today : Prices of Jeera closed low by 1.07 per-cent on yesterday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on account of a surge in the supply from the producing regions in the midst of a decline in the export requirement.

NCDEX : Jeera futures for Jan 2016 contract ended at Rs. 13,350 per quintal, down by 1.07 per cent, after opening at Rs. 13,370 against the previous closing price of Rs. 13,495. It reached the intra-day low of Rs. 13,345.

World wide output of Jeera is nearly 2.2 lakh MT per year, of which India produces about 1.5 lakh MT per year.

India exports Jeera mainly to the UK, US, Bangladesh, Brazil, Singapore & many other countries. Besides this, other Major exporters are Syria & Turkey.

Agri tips : Barley ends low 16 Jan, 2016

Agri tips : Barley prices ended lower by 1.3 per-cent on yesterday at NCDEX. Also there was a fall in the requirement from beer & cattle-feed makers.

NCDEX Barley : Barley futures for Jan 2016 contract ended at Rs. 1,325 per quintal, down by 1.3 per cent, after unlocking at Rs. 1,345 against the previous closing price of Rs. 1,342.5. It attained the intra-day low of Rs. 1,325.

Domestic equity continued in rolling


The local equity benchmarks continued to witness roller-coaster ride for the 2nd day in a row on today, but the BSE S&P Sensex pared much of the losses after opening the day with a deep cut.

After opening the day around 350 pts lower, the Sensex regained about 500 points to erase the losses & trade in green lines. But the benchmark indices again slid into the negative territory towards the end After starting the day about 350 points lower, the Sensex recouped about 500 points to erase the losses and trade in the green. Mcx Ncdex : Cardamom went down 0.96% 13 Jan, 2016

Mcx Ncdex : Prices of Cardamom fell down by 0.96 per-cent on today at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to the adequate stocks availability in the physical market on account of higher supply from the producing belts of Chandausi in UP(Uttar Pradesh).

MCX : Cardamom futures for Jan 2016 contract were trading at Rs. 797 per kg, down by 0.96 per cent, after unlocking at Rs. 804.70 against the previous closing price of Rs. 804.70. It attained the intra-day low of Rs. 796.50 till the trading. 

Mcx Crude oil futures floating over 1.5 per-cent at the time of late morning trade in the local market on today as investors and speculators booked fresh positions in the energy commodity as a drop in US storage levels last week eased concerns over a global supply glut.
